I have opened over 20 packs of these and have not got my AC Arbiter yet I guess I am getting really unlucky. I will make a post in a few days if some photos of the Series 3 figures I do have now.

Upcoming Halo Bloks In 2011

I am sure that if you are like me then you are looking forward to the next series of Halo Bloks. I want to just have a quick look over what is coming in 2011 for Halo Bloks fans. Although I am sure that 2012 will be a even bigger year for Halo Bloks because of all the excitement and work being done over on the new series of Halo Games. First all of we have all heard about the UNSC Falcon with Landing Pad that has made a huge impression on all of us since it was shown off on the Mega Bloks Halo Blog. Although I am not 100% sure if I like it right now. I really like the silver pilot but the falcon itself is still taking time to grow on me.Although I am sure once I have one I will enjoy it much more.

I am much more of a fan of the UNSC Elephant. I think that is a real cool looking model of a Halo Elephant.  And you get a black recon Spartan with it which look amazing. I just want to list what you can expect to see in 2011 from Mega Halo Bloks to give you a quick insight in to what is coming for collectors of Halo Bloks and of course as soon as they retail I will let you know where you can get them straight and way for the best price avaiable.

Also there was another post today on the Mega Bloks blog which consists of some lucky person getting mailed a box of series 3 figurines. He promises a full review which should be posted sometime today so lets wait for that.

Halo Bloks UNSC Shortsword

This is one of the newest Halo Bloks around right now. It is the Halo Bloks UNSC Shortsword. Boasting a great design this neat little Halo model is a must have for all Halo Bloks collectors. I was not so impressed with the design of the Halo Bloks Shortsword the first time I see it but once I bought one and constructed it I must say I was actually very impressed with its design. The shortsword is a short range bomber and comes with a UNSC pilot figurine with a M6D pistol and two Covenant Jackals equipped with type 51 carbines and plasma shields. What I really like about this Halo Blok is its removeable landing gear. Overall this is a great model to own and build. It is rather large 12 x 15 inches and has a real solid shape to it. This model is built from 449 pieces which all come in the box.

So if you do not already have one of these Shortswords yet then I say treat yourself to one since they are worth the price.

I just noticed there are still a few limited edition cyan spartan’s available. I fought this would of sold out by now. This Halo Bloks Cyan Spartan really is a collectors item. It will not be long before they are all gone, I am just glad I already got one. If you do not already have one then seriously go get one or you will end up paying a ton for one later on. This is a magnetic halo bloks figurine that comes with 24 pieces believe it all not. Construction is easy and I must say it looks great on the battlefield. Basically this limited edition cyan spartan comes with a Halo assault rifle but you can give him any weapons that you may have spare or sitting around.

I must say I really do like the magnectic figurines that Mega Bloks produce for Halo since it makes they figurines really rock solid but still agile enough to be put in any stance or vehicle that you desire. Halo Bloks UNSC Pelican Dropship

This is the Halo Bloks UNSC Pelican Dropship which everyone that is a fan of Halo will no all about. It is the main Halo transport ship and normally has a Warthog hanging off the bottom of it. This is one of the more expensive Halo Bloks but worth every cent if you ask me. It comes with two Spartans and a Hybusa spartan equipped with various weapons it also has a UNSC pilot. The cockpit has room for two figurines and the personel bay has room for four figurines. And it goes without saying that it has many opening hatches for you to move figurines in and out. The box contains 920 pieces and will take anyone some time to put together even if you are experienced with building Halo Bloks. This is by far one of the best Halo Bloks in my collection and although it is quite costly it really is a must have. If you are buying this for a friend or a young person then they may need your help putting it together since it can be quite tricky at times.

It goes without saying that this Halo Bloks Pelican is quite difficult to build, At nearly a thousand peices it is one of the biggest they have made. But do not let that get in the way of your choice to get your hands on one of these. It will be a good experience once you have completed the model and if you can build this Halo Bloks model then you can build any other. Some people have noted that this Halo Bloks Pelican holds together really well and I agree I have by mistake dropped mine a few times and it has remained strong and together.

Halo Bloks UNSC Warthog

Time for one of the all time Halo Bloks greats. The UNSC Warthog. This is a amazing little model of a Warthog. Fairly Tricky to build this one that’s why its rating suffers on some sites. But once you have it build it is a real master piece. It comes with 2 UNSC Spartans and A Covenant Ultra Elite with a Plasma turret. I know the picture shows a Ghost but this Warthog only comes with a Covenant turret not a Ghost. This is still a must have for any one’s collection. Also please note that the Warthogs come in 3 different colors, Red, Green and White.

As noted above this Halo Blok toy can be quite hard to put together so if you buy it for a young child then they may need your help building it. For older children tho it can be a good challenge and experience building this Halo Bloks Warthog. It really is a lovely Halo Toy that every Halo fan should own. What is nice about this Halo Blok Warthog is how sturdy it is. It has working active suspension and has a good solid feel about it. Certain parts from this set mainly the turret can be put to use in other models such as the 4 way connectors and trans-blue rods. You will find that a lot of these sets come with Turrets similar to this one so you can use the parts Else where to customize certain models. Go head and get one of these for your set you wont be disappointed.

Halo Bloks Covenant Wraith

Time for one of my all time favourites in the Halo Bloks collection this is the Covenant Wraith. This Halo Blok is such a amazing looking bit of kit it really does stand out in your collection and is a must have for anyone that does not have one yet. It comes with a Elite with a plasma sword but whats even better is the Hybusa spartan with a turret. This Halo Blok Wraith is a large Halo toy at 11 inches tall and 20 inches wide. The box contains 456 pieces which you have to put together to make the Covenant Wraith.

• Constructable Halo Covenant Wraith Land Assault Vehicle.
• 456 parts included for construction
• Retractable Plasma Mortar and open and close deployment hatch.

This Halo Blok Wraith is still easy to put together and once you put this one together it stays together. It is a little bit tougher to construct than some of the other Halo Blok toys but still this one is very easy to put together. Whether this be for you or a friend you can not go wrong with this one. It is one of the most have Halo Bloks toys. These Halo Blok Wraiths will soon be rare so I highly recommend you get one whilst the price is still so low. It will not be long before you will have to pay a premium to get one.

We are going to move on to some Covenant Halo Bloks now starting with the Halo Bloks Covenant Banshee. This is a real nice looking bit of kit. It makes a idea gift for a friend and a great addition to your own collection of Halo Bloks. This one is a bit harder to build than the Halo Bloks I have already managed but still fairly easy to construct. It comes with 97 pieces and includes a Elite figurine with a plasma pistol.

Halo Bloks Covenant Banshee Features:

• Constructable Covenant Banshee with Elite pilot.
• Equipped with Duel Plasma Cannons and Fuel Rod Cannon.
• Cockpit opens up fully.

This is a really great place to start your Halo Bloks vehicle collection. This is a great looking vehicle that is easy to build and is a good start point before you start building the larger vehicles like the Covenant Wraith or UNSC Gremlin. This is also a great place to start a Halo Bloks collection whether it be for you or a friend or your children.  I believe that you will get a sense of enjoyment when constructing this Halo Blok Banshee because it is fairly easy and looks great when its complete.

Halo Bloks ODST Heavy Weapon Specialist

This is the Halo Bloks ODST Heavy Weapon Specialist. Once again its a great little Halo Toy. This ODST comes with a Halo SMG and a Halo Rocket Launcher. Like all the other Halo Blok ODST’s he also comes with his drop pod. Which I have to say is the best looking drop pod of them all since it has a red flame bit of art work on it which makes it stand out from the rest. The other drop pods do have artwork but this is my favorite one by far. This is also a 28 piece toy.

They look amazing in any Scenario that you can make up and since the game Halo ODST they have become a big part of the Halo Universe. Limited numbers of these are available right now and when they are gone I can imagine you will have to pay a premium to get them. So make sure you get the ODST Halo Bloks quickly

Time for another Halo Blok ODST figurine. This is the Halo Blok ODST Close Quarters Specialist. This guy is real cool looking and being a close quarters specialist he is armed with the Halo shotgun and duel pistols. I prefer having him hold the duel pistols myself but that is completely up to you. This Halo Blok pack contains 28 pieces that are easy to assemble giving you a sexy looking CQS ODST with his drop pod.

I must admit that this Halo Blok ODST is one of the best looking in the ODST figurines. I really like it equipped with Duel Pistols. I got this as part of a set with the Halo Blok ODST Sniper and Heavy Weapons Specialist. I am not 100% sure if you can still get all these in one set. If you can I recommend you snap them up. This is because the ODST Halo Bloks are selling quick and Mega Bloks as far as I am aware haven’t made that many of these.
